Aglica Trio
13th February 2026
7.30pm

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert – something quite different but very interesting. The Trio were charming and so totally committed to their music. Fascinating evening!
‘Vivacious, lively, enchanting’ the music and the performers. Brightens this dreary weather. Thank you organisers.
Exquisite music, thank you. Lovely to hear the voices of the performers – well projected too.
Loved the Trio and it’s great to be introduced to new music!
Love the viola!!! Ibert fantastic!
What a delightfully talented trio – all so skilled on their instruments. With their expert rendition, the music really came to life for the audience ….well for me anyway!

It was good to see artists mainly sticking to pieces written for their combination of instruments, introducing us to new works, even if some were quite challenging. Loved how the performers shared information about the pieces. Would like to have heard more of the harpist’s own compositions as I really enjoyed that piece but it was a wonderful concert.
The Hilary Tann piece was just wonderful – descriptive music, delightfully played really took me soaring with the hawk above the cliff and blowing with the wind over a deep lake!
